Hi, folks. There goes a question (1), and a thought (2):
1) I'm really excited about this year's NAB, and I can't wait to see the
new babies Newtek is going to offer us. (Not to talk about Alias, DPS, etc.)
I'll be there, maybe I'll meet some of you guys there, but I've read
about the Pre-NAB meeting that Newtek is going to offer Sunday (5:00 PM,
Ceasars') and I'me not quite sure: a) If it's open to the public (hope so)
and b) _Where_ in the Ceasar's is it gonna be (You know, it's not exactly
a small houtel).
2) Of course with the recent flow of Alpha speedster, beyond the on-screen
rendering the great advantage of SGI nowadays is its software (Did you see
that spectacular Alias Poweranimator mini-tutorial that are appearing in CGW
since last year's end? Blend... webbing... NURBS... Oh, my poor polygons!)
Until when do you think this will last? They have a point about their price,
after all it's QUITE a tool, we can't deny. What I mean is, is it SPEED the
most important thing?
Your brazilian friend holding his breath,
Breno Silva (INF02@BRUFSE.BITNET)
